This 1979 Tonka Excavator was RUSTY and CRUSTY ! Let's make it shine !

I found this 1970's Tonka Excavator/Backhoe on Facebook Marketplace from the original owner in my hometown. The tracks were missing and the bucket arm would not function properly. I had some tracks from a busted up 1980's bulldozer that fit perferctly. I put a little elbow grease into this one and it turned out pretty good. I had to use pop rivets to hold the top onto the base because my rivit tool could not reach as far in as the factory was able to do. Tonka did use pop rivets for the last two rivets as well because they could not access the back side for them. In this situation I feel it is "semi" forgivable to use pop rivets. If you still do not think so please let me know in the comments, maybe I can learn something. This toy had honest wear and the way it is presented is exactly how I found it. Thanks for watching. If you like this kind of video please let me know in the comments, and if it has earned it please like and subscribe. Now for the big ask, If you think someone else would like it, please share this video. Thank you for watching. I truly am grateful. #Restoration #DIY #ASMR
