Slam Downs with Sandbell

Slam downs are so beneficial and so satisfying. There are a lot of exercises that train upwards power (box jumps, cleans, snatches, etc) but downwards power is often overlooked. Slam downs require an explosive movement downwards using your lats, abs and hip flexors in a coordinated fashion. In this video I use a Sandbell but you could also use a med ball or slam ball. It's much safer to slam something that does not bounce back up. Try 3-7 reps in a set and the louder the slam, the better you did.
