Prisoner 'stabbed in the face' at HMP Forest Bank in Salford

An inmate was 'stabbed in the face' at Salford's Forest Bank prison.

The drama is said to have happened on a wing following a confrontation between two inmates on Thursday night (April 11).

The prisoner suffered only 'superficial facial injuries' and did not require transfer to hospital, according to bosses at the privately-run jail.
