Flood Easter Newnham on Severn 1985

Filmed before the flood bank was constructed. The car park often flooded and caught visitors unawares. Newspapers quite often got the time of the Bore wrong and people would arrive an hour early or late, then they did not understand that the Bore was the wave at the beginning of the tide coming in. The people on the Marley litter bin were members of The Sealed Knott. They did not know that there were several rats also trying to avoid getting wet underneath them.
