Black wolf versus grizzly bear with cubs

Lamar Canyon Wolf - 926F takes on a grizzly bear with two cubs in the Lamar Valley. 926F had grabbed an elk calf from the forest with a sow grizzly bear and cubs in hot pursuit. The wolf dropped the lifeless elk calf and proceeded to flee. The bear and cubs feasted on the precious food source while the wolf waited for a small morsel of protein.
