The beautiful throaty sounds of a Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the skies nr Farnborough Air Show

As flown in the Battle of Britain (1940 World War II) the Spitfire was a single seat Fighter Aircraft designed by R.J Mitchell. Here it is in the skies above Farnborough Air Show making a turn ith its Rolls-Royce Merlin engine.
Along with the Hawker Hurricane these fighters won the Battle of Britain and put an end to Hitler's plans to invade England.
