Building a PS5 Slim & Pro Mount to Support Two DualSense Controllers | 3D Printing Prototype Round 3

I designed a modular track system to cleanly mount DualSense controllers using the PS5’s horizontal stand slots. It worked—until I spotted a critical weak point: the printed layer lines ran against the tab's stress direction. After testing angled prints and reworking the design, I landed on a slotted version that lets me print the tab separately, with stronger, stress-aligned layers. Same function, way more durability.
