ACU-LUX is designed to detect covert electronic devices containing semi-conducting components. The device allows inspection of walls, room, furniture and office environment, vehicles and body for the detection of covert surveillance devices, such as radio microphones, microphone amplifiers, tape and digital recorders etc. in active or switched-off states.
The ACU-LUX operates in pulse mode with an effective radiated power of up-to 60 watts per pulse. This allows for a high (-150 dB/W) the sensitivity of the receivers. By the detection range, LUX unit matches the most powerful detectors on the market. This is achieved by optimally chosen parameters of the radiation and reception in conjunction with an effective antenna system.
The resolution of each LED indicator is 3dB and the received signal can also be heard with the accompanying earphones and selects the best frequencies (not interfering with GSM range) allowing the unit to work in a concentrated environment.
Ergonomic one piece construction and light (1.3 kg including battery) with extendable/retractable poll inside the handle, as well the ACU-LUX's innovative screw-in battery extends the handle further.
