What's Going on in Hawaii? Masks, Pre-Travel Testing, and More.

So I was very hesitant to make a video about the new rules in Hawaii as it relates to having to wear masks in public and the pre-travel testing program because the rules are changing a lot and I don’t exactly understand everything that’s going on. To me, the mask rule is rather confusing. So rather than tell you “5 Things You Need to Know About Hawaii Reopening”, I wanted to just talk story about what is going on and some of the aspects of the situation that are still pretty unclear to me as someone who lives in Hawaii and has been following what’s been going on.

As a local, I’m not trying to get around the rules. I just want to make sure that I’m acting appropriately and because of this YouTube channel, I want to make sure that in the videos, I’m portraying myself following the rules. And maybe there are smarter people out there who understand it completely, but if you’re like me, then you’re probably a little unsure about some of what’s allowed and what’s not.
