In this video I will show how to properly park on a hill. This will ensure that you safely park your vehicle uphill or downhill, with or without a curb. This information is very important for your road test and a great refresher for those who forgot how to do it.

Do tires need to touch the curb?
The following statement regarding parking on a hill is taken from the province of Alberta (Canada) official website:
"If there is a curb, allow the vehicle to roll to the point where the front tire closest to the curb is making contact with the curb before setting the parking brake. This helps to prevent the vehicle from jumping the curb if the vehicle starts to move."
