First Drop-In Attempt on the Decathlon Oxelo SurfSkate. Will I break myself again?

I've put this off for 10 months but many of you asked for it... I watch JD from Braille drop into 13-foot bowls on the sketchiest non-skateboard objects imaginable, so surely I can muster the courage to drop-in to a 3-foot quarter pipe on the Oxelo Carve 540 SurfSkate. It would be hard to design a board that is worst suited to this task, but if you want to shred the skatepark, you need to be able to drop-in and start your run with speed, so here goes... I'll share some tips along the way.
