The long-awaited sequel to the classic 1988 film Beetlejuice is finally happening! Tim Burton is back in the director's chair, and Michael Keaton is reprising his role as the titular ghost. Joining Keaton in the cast are Jenna Ortega (Scream, X) and Monica Bellucci (Spectre, The Matrix Resurrections).

The teaser trailer for Beetlejuice 2 was released today, and it gives us a brief glimpse at what to expect from the sequel. We see Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz (Ortega) back in action, as well as a new character played by Bellucci. The trailer is full of Burton's signature style, and it's clear that Beetlejuice 2 is going to be a visually stunning film.

Beetlejuice 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 6, 2024.
