Expedition around wild Papua and other islands

www.Gorizonty.org
In this video I'll talk about our expedition to the wild tribes of Papua New Guinea where people still live like in a Stone Age (from 6:25), about shocking rites on the Sulawesi island (from 2:10) , about the world-famous volcano Krakatau (from 0:10), and the inhabitants of the South Pacific Ocean (from 4:50).

Hi! My Name is Dimitriy Kondatiev. I'm fluent in Indonesian and I've spent more than 2 years in this lovely country.

Review:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our journey began with Krakatau, which explosion was the most powerful in the history of modern mankind.
The explosion was so powerful that it was heard by the third part of the world's population. A shock wave went around the earth about 7 times.120 km from here, in the capital city Jakarta, all the windows and doors were blown out and the tile was blown off roofs.

Also, we went to the Sulawesi island to visit Toraja people. They believe that their ancestors came down to Earth from the heavens of the mystical world Puja.
There is still a caste system in this society. A striking thing is that a man is judged here not by the way he lead the life, but by the way a funeral ceremony for him was carried out.
In order the soul of a deceased goes back into the world of ancestors, it's necessary to arrange proper funeral ceremonies with a special slaughter of a ritual buffalo.
But the thing is that the price of a buffalo can reach 60 000 dollars. The standard price is 5000 dollars.

At the northern coast of Papua New Guinea we are going to visit the whale sharks - the largest among currently living sharks in the world.
They can reach up to 20 meters length and can weigh up to 30 tons.
We’ve had a chance to swim with 10-meter length giants.

later we went to the center of New Guinea to visit the families still living in the Stone Age.
There we saw about 20 villages both from remote locations with no civilization and from nearby villages, quite civilized, get together for a week to chat, cook, meet friends, and do many other things together.
I’d like to mention that these places are not touristic areas. They are not included in the guidebooks or marked on maps.
