Garage door cone and spring tension
A friend had the lift wire fail on the up and over garage door. The local garage door company seemed either not to have the skills or inclination to repair it, rather suggesting a new door!
With a set of cones purchased and a car load of tools 2.5 hours later it was back in full working order.
