Cosa Megalithic Fort pt.2 | Cyclopean Platforms and the 'Osirion' of Ancient Italy | Megalithomania

Part 2 of 2 exploring Cosa in Tuscany, Italy (Watch part 1 here: https://youtu.be/z4JeOlhIl64). In this video Hugh Newman explores the interior of the site looking at the main temple and others that have massive cyclopean platforms, that were later built on by the Etruscans and Romans, as well a quick visit to the onsite museum. There are many examples of sophisticated polygonal masonry all over the site, including an unusual sunken temple that is similar to the 'Osirion' at Abydos in Egypt, although not nearly as large. This may have been an ancient Oracle site similar to those found in Naples and in Greece. Includes exclusive aerial footage.
