4x4 #VanLife in a Truck: Black Bear Encounter Story (in a tent), Wilderness Trout Fishing Adventure
It's been SOOOOO nice to be out of cell range this week! I got up to the trailhead for this area on Sunday and just got back. Had a chance to fish 5 different lakes in this video plus a few more. Such an awesome time, can't wait to return so I can backpack into this incredible area of Colorado for a few days with Sierra!

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFF-GRID AND SELF SUFFICIENT HOMESTEADING
Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.
Self-sufficient means needing no outside help in satisfying one's basic needs, especially about the production of food, and homesteading means living a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. So by those definitions, the key to homesteading is learning to be self-sufficient.
