Story script:
It had been three months since Velvet received the note. Since Aarav vanished with the diamond—and a piece of her pride.

She wasn't used to being played.

Now, she was hunting him.

From the underground clubs in Paris to the black markets of Istanbul, whispers of a "ghost thief with soft eyes" teased her at every stop. She was getting closer.

Finally, in Venice, she found a clue—a stolen painting resurfaced under Aarav’s old alias. She waited for him at an abandoned cathedral, moonlight spilling through the broken stained glass.

He walked in, just as she'd hoped. Calm, handsome, that devilish smirk on his lips.

“You missed me,” he said, brushing his coat back, casually unarmed.

Velvet walked slowly toward him, heels echoing like gunshots on marble.

“I should kill you.”

“You should,” he whispered, closing the distance.

But instead of a bullet, she kissed him—hard. Angry. Desperate. Their chemistry ignited like gasoline. She pushed him against the altar, his hands in her hair, hers on his chest—feeling his heart race like hers.

But as passion took over, so did danger.

Suddenly, the doors slammed open—Interpol agents, guns raised. Velvet’s eyes went wide.

“You set me up?” she hissed.

Aarav’s voice was soft. “No… I set us both up.”

The agents moved in, but instead of arresting her, they saluted.

“What the hell is this?”

Aarav turned to her. “I’m not just a thief. I work for a covert agency. You’re too good to waste, Velvet. They want you in. With me.”

She stared at him, heart thundering.

“Why me?”

He stepped closer, holding her face gently.

“Because you’re the only one who’s ever made me want to stop running.”

Velvet didn’t say yes.

But she didn’t walk away either.
