1st Short Film Post-Lockdown (trouble shooting Sony FS7 camera hop / Sound Devices 833 Auto-Mute)
Feeling rusty after many many weeks off! But it is good to be back.
Got caught out for a few minutes with the Sound Devices 833's "record mute", wondering why my scratch feed to the Sony FS7 (with its MI-Shoe for audio) by a Sony UWP-D11 pair (with the Sony SMAD-P3 Multi-Interface Shoe Adapter on the receiver) wasn't showing up on the FS7's audio meters.
This video was filmed with my usual vlogging setup of a Panasonic G6 with a SLR Magic 8mm F4, and an Aputure A.Lav running straight into it.
