Tongue TENSION for the R Sound by Peachie Speechie

6 ways to teach your students about TENSION! When I tell my students to make their tongue tense and tight, they don't always know what I mean. Sometimes I have to teach them what tension is! Once they understand the concept, they have an easier time achieving that crisp clear R sound we are working toward.

Be sure to check out my other videos about the R sound! This one teaches children how to say the BUNCHED R: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F-qKn_x59I

And this one teaches them how to say the RETROFLEXED R: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDKWscOgl7U&t=24s
