Waste heat recovery system for electric arc furnaces

Primetals Technologies implemented an innovative waste heat recovery system at the steelworks of Arvedi in Cremona, Italy. An outstanding highlight of this system is that energy that is contained in the furnace off-gas is recovered to produce steam for the three distant pickling lines.
