First Cross Country Flight | Zero Time to Airline Episode 7

The first Cross Country Flight is an interesting one for a few reasons. Reason one this is the flight now that you will have to use a navigation plotter. Watch our navigational plotter video to learn how to use one. It is okay to be off be a few degrees, but the issue comes when the pilot is completely off the destination mark.

Reason two is fuel consumption awareness. During a Cross Country Flight it is not like driving where if you need gas you can stop at a gas station. Think of it more-so as a road trip in the middle of nowhere. If you run out of gas midway you will be in some serious problems.
