UAS Forum, Sweden 2025 | Västervik Drone Science Park | Aero2 flight demonstration

What an incredible two days in Västervik! We were proud to participate in UAS Forum #Sweden. We reached a major milestone: the first-ever public #flight demonstrations of the #Aero2 tilt-wing #drone outside of #Switzerland.

Over the course of the event, multiple Aero2 flights were performed, including a 40-minute demonstration with a 15-minute flight in front of 150+ spectators. This campaign was made possible thanks to a cross-border #VLOS approval granted by Transportstyrelsen, Sweden’s national aviation authority.

Hosted at Västervik Drone Science Park the forum brought together leaders in advanced air mobility, infrastructure, and investment. The Aero2, designed for reliable, long-range logistics and remote sensing missions, was a strong fit for this audience and setting. It’s great to see how Sweden is engaged in the promotion of the use of drones for so many different use cases.

We were proud to have six Dufour Aerospace team members on-site, gaining valuable real-world exposure and technical learnings as we continue to refine our systems and operations.
