The Holy Trinity as Dimensions of Consciousness

The early Christian Councils--of Niceae and Chalcedon--defined ultimate reality, God, as a perichoresis, which is Greek for a Dance-Around of Love. God is a dance around of Love, and according to the Book of Genesis we are all created in this image and likeness. Here's a glimpse of how to work with this notion in prayer. To understand the First Person one must enter into the First Person kind of awareness, a not-knowing in love. To understand the Second Person one must enter into the holy I-Thou relationship and kind of awareness. To understand the Third Person one must enter into the Spirit's own way of knowing as the dancing We of the Body of Christ through prayer, liturgy, song, and dance. Short reflection by Robert A.
