From our 6th Season of Paramount Television’s hit TV series, “SOLID GOLD“: enjoy this 1986 performance of Dionne Warwick and her cousin, Whitney Houston, singing "You're A Friend of Mine". This recording was arranged and produced by myself (Solid Gold's musical director and theme composer, Michael Miller - aka "Mickle"), and it aired just a month before Whitney won her very-first Grammy (which was presented to her by Dionne!)
