Hurricane Douglas is now rapidly weakening west of the Hawaiian islands, and is quickly losing its convection as well as its strength, now with an exposed center of circulation. The storm is likely to continue towards the International Date Line, and dissipate along the way.

Elsewhere, in the Atlantic, Invest 92L has captured the attention of most, with a high chance of development in the next few days. The system is extremely broad, and is likely to be a disorganized tropical storm as it moves through the Lesser Antilles. However, its size will cause significant impacts if it does indeed reach tropical storm status.
The future of Invest 92L is very uncertain, ranging from its remnants having a chance in the Gulf of Mexico, to a classic east coast clipper next week.

In the Western Pacific, there are several areas of interest all with low chances of development. The one with the most long term potential is off the eastern Philippine islands, and could become a significant typhoon as it ventures towards Taiwan and eastern China next week.
