Automatic Choke operation - dеllorto carburettor - How does it works and what's inside

What's inside an automatic choke of dellorto carburettor (PHVA or PHVB).
The choke works at around 12V. Max consumption in the first few seconds drops from 2A to 0.6 A and then gradually goes down to 0.2A, where it stays. The needle extends to max 8mm and it took it around 5-10mins.
