Good Friday Service | 2021

Experience the beauty and forgiveness of Jesus as we reflect on his enthronement as King—the cross.

Before the service starts, we ask that you prepare three items:
• Seven Lit Candles 
• Communion Elements (Juice & Bread) 
*You may also consider dimming the lights in your home.

We'll use the extinguishing of seven candles to symbolize the events from the triumphant entry to Jesus' burial.

As we read each passage of scripture together, we'll extinguish a candle. This increasing darkness symbolizes the agony, pain, and suffering our King endured while on the cross.

Our service will conclude with communion in darkness and silence, symbolizing the death of Jesus.

We encourage you to take Friday evening and all day Saturday to reflect on the death of Jesus as his victory—a victory that will be unveiled through the Resurrection on Easter Sunday.
