Production Logging Service MPLT with special FlowJet pump
Production Logging Survey (PLT or MPLT) with help of special Jet pump (FlowJet) which has got provision for Slickline, Wireline cable or CTU.
Service performed at workover Rig intervention when Rig is sent to the well to replace exiting failed Beam pump, PCP or ESP without Y-tool (opportunity-based PLT/MPLT).
Once existing Artificial Lift pump pulled from the well, the same workover rig runs FlowJet pump with mechanical type of packer to the well, set it above perforation interval(s).
WL or SL unit is mobilized to the well location, MPLT/PLT tools connected to the cable head along with logging plug (pink on video) and tools with plug are run to the well to be set into the FlowJet pump housing.
Surface pump connected at surface to make a circulation loop. Power fluid is injected into the tubing, production comes from annulus at almost atmospheric pressure.
FlowJet makes the well producing as a standard Jet pump and the same time PLT/MPLT is being performed through it.
After completion of the logging, PLT/MPLT tools are pulled with logging plug to the surface and then FlowJet BHA to be pulled as well.
Advantages:
• Great opportunity for wells such as Beam pump, PCP, ESP without Y-tool which usually couldn’t be surveyed - unlock potential of mature wells.
• No mix of power fluid with reservoir fluid.
• Variable Pwf could be achieved (different regimes during the logging).
• Unlimited production time during logging.
• Immediate logging results right after completion of survey for well-reservoir optimization opportunity by the same workover rig.
• Mobile technology, easy to populate on many wells.
