HOW to DRAW & SHADE a GORGEOUS Female Face in Copic Markers (Whimsical Women #9)

How to draw & shade a gorgeous female face is one of my FAVORITE things to teach, and I'm having an absolute blast with the whimsical face drawing tutorials in this series! Since I don't know where the GORGEOUS model in today's art reference photo is from - I've decided to call her "UK Cool chic" because of her funky, pink hair! We begin this whimsical drawing like we have each one in the Whimsical Women of the World portrait drawing series - by sketching in our guidelines!

After your UK cool chic is sketched in - I'll teach you how to shade a whimsical face in copic markers! I have LOVED shading each of the whimsical faces in this series with my copics, but YOU use whatever art supply is YOUR favorite!

I had NO idea how to draw short curly hair like the model in my art reference photo has, but sometimes ya gotta just dive in, and try something! I didn't let it bother me too much because this is a WHIMSICAL drawing after all - and it's one of the reasons I love this style of art in the first place. I can take artistic liberties here and there to just keep the project light and FUN!
