Blind Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo: this is Lily
Meet Lily, a Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo in permanent care at Tree Roo Rescue in the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland, Australia.
Lily is blind. She came in with cataracts and may also have a virus which affects the vision of many roos in the population, causing central blindness.
The virus may have been triggered by the stress of climate and environmental change.
This species of Tree Roo only lives in the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland.
