Everyone has heard of the mind palace. Most of those people heard if from Sherlock Holmes. However, few people know about the deaths, and mystery that surrounded the mind palace's origins. Simonides of Ceos was not a mathematician or a scientist. He was a poet, but he had a brilliant mind. It was the usage of his mind that sparked the first conceptualization of the mind palace. Then termed, the method of Loci, which is the Latin term for "places."
