I Found More Transmission Problems With My Porsche 915 - BAD Bearing Bores

I'm glad to be working on Mac's 915 transmission(s) again. There are enough parts to build two transaxles here! My plan is to build a stock one first and then a hotrod trans to handle even more power. A common problem with the Porsche 915 transmission is loose pinion and mainshaft bearing races. The bores in the differential housing become oversize which allows the bearings to spin where they aren't supposed to. In this video I evaluate the bores at max operating temperature to make sure the bearings fit tight. One of the differential housing needs to be remanufactured with steel inserts which should be a permanent fix. Thanks for watching!
