Finishing the Destiny 2 Hunter's Knife!

Time to get this knife finished! The destiny 2 hunter’s knife is pretty straightforward in its geometry, but I have a lot of scale to grind through to get it clean and flat. Then it’s time to harden, polish, etch, and put a handle on.
Most of the work is hogged out on the 2x72 belt grinder and the rest with files and an angle grinder.
For the quench I’m just using vegetable oil, as that works perfectly well for 1084 high carbon steel.
To complete the etch I’m using dilute ferric chloride.
