Tech Tip #44: Hot Hull Inlets ~ Keep An Eye On Hull Inlets

This happens every winter....Don't let it happen to your boat!
The hull inlet, because it's a removable plug/cord is always suspect to corrosion and then the extra resistance causes them to get HOT! After that you can loose AC power onboard, or even catch the boat on fire! Simple, routine testing can let you know if it's time to replace your hull inlet.
