Swedish actor and Oscar winner Alicia Vikander attends 20th Zurich Film Festival

Alicia Vikander visits the 20th Zurich Film Festival to present her new film “The Assessment” at Swiss premiere where she was honoured with the Golden Eye Award.

“The Assessment” shows a future world devastated by climate change, in which society strives for perfection. Couples who wish to have children must therefore undergo a state suitability test. Alicia Vikander plays the lead role of an assessor who lives with a couple for a week and shakes up their relationship with uncomfortable questions.

The science fiction film portrays society's obsession with optimization. According to Vikander, it shows how people are struggling to survive in this new, broken world.
