Hidden Northumberland Part 2

2nd part of a series of Northumberlands hidden places. I headed to Shaftoe where an ancient landscape is waiting to be explored. The area is the site of ongoing archaeological investigations, which have found evidence of rock shelters used by early prehistoric hunter-gatherers. A fascinating place where the remains of an ancient river stands but no water flows and strange rock formations cover the landscape.
