Massive Halibut Caught while Bottom Fishing in Alaska

In this video I fish for Halibut and Rockfish in The Gulf of Alaska out of Seward, Alaska on my first charter of the season, and the first charter I have ever ran as captain out of this port. We catch a top 10 fish in my 16 year career, and I have to say quiet a thrilling experience for me.

This I certainly one of the many highs I will have of the season, and you will also be there for the lows. I am very thankful to start the season like this and I hope you all enjoy this mostly raw footage of an epic fight with a giant halibut.
