Velvet Underground - Dance and Moonbeats Asia proudly present to you The Deep End, a monthly night featuring only the best beats and tunes to make you swoon. Curating an eclectic mix of regional and international producers and DJs, The Deep End will be the one place to blast into space, one time where the paradigm of life is to feel alive.

Like his mythological namesake, DAEDELUS – otherwise known as Alfred Darlington – is an inventor, a creator of sonic labyrinths combining sounds from an eclectic palette into an innovative genre of his own. Despite the fact that he was formally trained on double bass and bass clarinet, had studied jazz at USC, and could play additional instruments such as the guitar and accordion, Daedelus chose to go the electronica route, often incorporating samples from the ‘30s and ‘40s into his iDM and left-field hip-hop.
