Community Service Program – Empowering Local Tourism Potential in Duda Timur Village

On May 24, 2025, the Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Bali , carried out a Community Service Program (PKM) in Duda Timur Village, Karangasem. With the theme “Empowering Human Resources Through Occupational Health and Safety (K3) and Foreign Language Training to Support Jagasatru Waterfall and Brahma Statue Tourism”, the program included capacity-building workshops aimed at improving local guides’ safety awareness and communication skills with international visitors. Highlights of the day included speeches from village and academic leaders, the signing of a MoU and MoA, symbolic handover of K3 equipment, and a site visit to the tourism locations. A joint step forward in developing sustainable local tourism!
