so... this pissed me off ok. first of all, religion is NEVER an excuse to do anything horible or excuse anything horrible, second of all, isn't the whole thing with Christianity "forgiveness"? isn't revenge seen as wrong? this would be actively going against the religion would it not? and besides, it wanst done out of revenge, it was done because (some) early Christians thought that the gods status held demons. either way its horible!! both are horible (both what happened to the statued and what fhe comment says, if its true.). I feel so bad for the gods....
