SCARBOROUGH UK | We take a walk along the seafront and beach on Scarborough North Bay, North Yorkshire, England from Sea Life Centre in the shadow of Scarborough Castle.

Scarborough is a traditional seaside town on the East Coast of Yorkshire England. It boasts two great bays, the South Bay and the North Bay which is where we walk in todays video.

The beaches here are beautiful golden sandy beaches and are extremely spacious. Scarborough North Bay is the most relaxed and laid back of the two however, so don't expect the hustle and bustle and commercialisation of Scarborough South Bay beach as this one is a very different beast.

Scarborough North Bay is more for your bucket and spade, sandcastle and paddling in the sea type holidaymaker and day tripper. Here on the North Bay you will find it quiet, peaceful and none of the amusement arcades, pubs, cafes and restaurants that you will find in Scarborough South Bay. But this is an advantage for those coming to Scarborough for a quieter seaside holiday.

Along the seafront and beach here you will find a large number of beautifully coloured beach huts, as well as the Chalet Cafe which serves refreshments, drinks and something to eat if you're hungry.

In the distance you can see Scarborough Castle sat up high on the clifftops that are also home to all the hotels and bed and breakfast places to stay here in Scarborough, all of which enjoy fantastic sea views!

Scarborough North Bay is also popular with people who enjoy watersports whether that be paddleboats or surfing (there is a surfboard shop here too!)

The hop on hop off open top bus stops in North Bay and you can jump on and take a bus trip all the way round to South Bay with it's lighthouse, Grand Hotel, and the famous Scarborough Spa Theatre (amongst other well known popular Scarborough Tourist Attractions)

So whether you are wanting a walk along Scarborough Beach or a swim in the North Sea then the North Bay here is most definitely worth a visit!
