I do love the Harry Potter series and universe, but I have to admit that I've been a little disappointed in the direction that the Fantastic Beasts films have been going, being more about Dumbledore and Grindelwald than about the beasts themselves. Sure, there are still plenty of weird and fantastical beasts in the film, but they’ve become as integral to the plot as Quidditch was to defeating Voldemort. Nevertheless, I’ll definitely be seeing the new film in theaters when it comes out next week, and I do hope that the beasts will be more important to the story!
