GINGIVA - INTERDENTAL PAPILLA

Gingiva is a part of the oral mucosa lining the alveolar process of jaws and surrounds the teeth to provide a seal around them.
It plays a major rule to facilitate both innate and adaptive defense mechanism against various foreign agents.

Macroscopically gingiva is divided into three zones based on its anatomic location - marginal gingiva
attached gingiva
interdental papilla

so lets try and break this down and understand it better!!
