See Harriet Tubman's Home Firsthand and Hear Her Amazing Life Story!

Take a tour of Harriet Tubman's home in Auburn, New York. Purchased from Senator William Steward in 1858, she later moved her elderly parents from Canada to live on this estate. A former slave who later became known at "The Moses of her People", she is perhaps the most well-known of the Underground Railroad's conductors. During a ten-year span, she made 19 trips into the South and escorted hundreds of enslaved individuals to freedom. Despite having no formal education, she was a soldier and spy during the Civil War and became the first woman to lead an armed operation in the United States.

Special thanks to Reverend Paul Gordon Carter, who presented this fantastic story of an American hero.
