Elon Musk: Tesla operates one of the world's most powerful supercomputers internally to train its cars to drive.
“We have the Cortex 1, basically a giant computer brain that is used for AI training. We take the vast amount of video that we get from all the cars in the fleet and we use that to train the artificial intelligence to be able to drive the car. And this is one of the most powerful training systems in the world with over 50,000 GPUs active and soon to be 100,000 GPUs which will make it I think probably top five in the world in training centers.”
