Mama Jaguar and Her Cubs Are ‘Rewilded’

A jaguar named Mariua and her two cubs, Karaí and Porá, were released into a vast nature preserve in northern Argentina. Jaguars are the biggest cats in the Americas. And after nearly being driven to extinction, these felines have been reintroduced to their native habitat. The little family won’t be entirely alone - scientists estimate there are about 200 jaguars still in the wild. But this is the first time jaguars have ever been "rewilded."
