"The thing that I love - which is the F&I calculator - and I still, to this day, use.

But it's one of the most simple tools that Dealerslink has (and I think sometimes we forget about it).

So I've got a new desk manager that's here - and he's talking about getting a customer bought. And he's going through the inventory, and he's looking through the car, and he's looking for the book, and I walk in over.

'I'm trying to find the car that I can actually get this loan to value at 115%, and it's only 72 months (the credit is going to be this, he said).'

And I said, 'Well, go to Dealerslink. I'll show you how to use F&I calculator.'

He goes, 'What are you talking about?'

This guy's been desking for 30 years. And I said, 'Just go to F&I calculator.'

We pull it up, we click the link. I said, 'Put what you know that the bank's going to give you.'

I said, 'Uncheck the marketplace, uncheck everybody. And just, you look at our inventory alone.' And I said, 'Now, click search.'

And all of a sudden, he sees all this green profit on these cars that are 60 days old, 40 days old...

And I say, 'Which ones are you going after first?"

He said, 'The oldest one. We're going to work our inventory.'

So I've used that for 18 years."
