How much does a wedding in Ghana cost?

We are a Ghanaian couple living in America. In Dec 2018 we got married. It has been exactly 1yr 6 months since then. In this video, we attempt to answer the question, how much does a wedding cost in Ghana?

We were hesitant to put out any actual amount in Cedis or dollars as that depends on many factors but a reasonable budget (as at 2020) for everything may start from 20,000GHS upwards thus about $5,000. A traditional wedding only may cost even less
