How to Shoot 74 with Useless Wedge Game - 2 under on the back side

The Playa is back and it's Throwback Tuesday as we go back in time to July 2018 where Matt shoots a delightful 74 around Rose Garden. Please note there is an F bomb on the 4th hole but it was too funny to censor. I had to include it - it never gets old.

Rose Garden is pretty easy off the tee. The greens however, are insane and some of the slopes are so crazy, you have 90° breaks on the putts. Some have 4 tiers and others run off into the abyss a yard lower than the pin.

The course is something like 6,600 yards off the blues and not much of a stretch. I hit mostly wedges into the greens because my driver was finally on fire (the week before it broke).

The game inside 120 yards is so so so so vital. This will be my main focus when I go back to South Africa in November and December. This is the difference between a 74 and a 68, especially when the putter was finding the hole.
