The “Diet” Smartphone: Minimal Phone Review

It may look like a BlackBerry from 2017, but the "Minimal Phone" is very much a product of 2025. Its official name is the MP01, and it's the first product from a new company trying to ... minimize ... your dependence on your devices. And (after a few software updates), it might represent the best option for some people to disconnect … without totally divorcing from our modern reality. MrMobile's Minimal Phone Review was produced following five weeks with a Minimal Phone MP01 review sample provided by the Minimal Company. Pre-production sample running pre-release software. Tested on T-Mobile US in New York City, Kingston RI and points between. The device received three software updates or custom packages during the review period.
